Quang Dien: Replication model of black carp aquaculture

After 6 months of aquaculture, the average weight is 2kg per fish, productivity reaches 1125 kg, and funds earned nearly 60 million VND. After deducting expenses, net profit is over 20 million.
For diversity-based development of freshwater fish sector, Quang Dien district tested the model of black carp aquaculture on an area of 4000 m2, the number of breeding varieties was 850, including black carp, grass carp and hypophthalmichthys.
Black carp is a freshwater fish specialties, delicious, high nutritional content, and high commercial value. During aquaculture process, it has high adaptability with environment, good disease resistance, grow-up quickly. Besides that, black carp also has some good effect in medicine.

Expectedly, Quang Dien district will replicate this model in the next time.
