Quiz Competition on “Climate Change and Climate-Smart Agriculture” Leaves Lasting Impact

The quiz competition themed “Understanding Climate Change and Climate-Smart Agriculture” took place last November in A Luoi district, drawing significant interest and enthusiastic participation from local communities. The event was co-organized by the Women’s Union of A Luoi district and Center for Rural Development in Central Vietnam (𝗖𝗥𝗗), University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, with financial support from the International Climate Initiative (IKI) through the German Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ).
The competition featured three teams representing units from Hong Thuong and A Roang, areas predominantly inhabited by ethnic minority groups. Participants tackled 15 questions centered on climate change and climate-smart agricultural solutions designed to mitigate its increasingly severe impacts. The content, crafted to be relatable and easy to understand, provided participants with practical and valuable knowledge, thereby raising awareness about climate change and its adaptive agricultural practices.
Beyond being a platform for intellectual exchange, the event served as an opportunity for community members to connect, foster solidarity, and celebrate their cultural heritage. Through dynamic and creative delivery, the quiz created an engaging and educational atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
